Driveways

Driveways built to last

Every drive is built on a solid, well-prepared base, so it keeps its shape for years.

We take care of the whole job: removing the old surface, digging out, drainage, edging and the finished surface. You receive a written quote before we start, and we keep you informed from the first day to the last.

Common questions

Driveways: your questions.

Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?

Usually not, if the surface is permeable or the water drains to a lawn or border. A non-permeable surface that drains onto the road generally does need permission. We will tell you which applies before you commit.

How long does a driveway take?

That depends on the size of the drive, how much needs digging out and the surface you choose, and tarmac and resin also need dry weather. We will give you a timescale with your quote.

Who arranges the dropped kerb?

The application goes to your council in your name. We will explain what your council requires before the work is booked.
